Terre des Hommes Spain wants to highlight his new campaign “tú con doce” (“you with twelve”). This campaign wants to mobilize and awareness society that with very little we can get much. That with twelve small gestures, we can help children of the program “Voyage towards life”. Some of the gestures are: to be a host family, to be a volunteer accompanying hospitalized children or promoting this cause; to donate twelve euros per year or transmit this information among friends, partners, fellow workers, family or in social networks. Other campaigns TDH Spain  develops are: Nutrition Campaign. Coinciding with the National Nutrition Day, date on march, 28, many restaurants of Spain donate until a 10% of his collection to childhood projects of Terre des Hommes Spain. This is a pioneer iniatitive in Spain and the TDH Spain is carry out it since five years (2009). For more information: www.tdhdianutricion.com.

The present development education campaign is the same of the International Federation: Destination Unknown: to protect children on the move. Now, the team of Development Education Departament are making talks in secondary schools and universities to awareness students about the aboused children suffer around the world when they left home because of poverty, wars or others catastrophes. Also, the team of Development Education Departament are training and empowering to the “Tdh Youth Volunteer group” as young actors for Human Rights and Gender equality.

On the other hand, the program “Voyage towards life” (“Viaje hacia la Vida”) continues moving children to Spain from african countries (Togo, Benin, Mauritania, Senegal, Marruecos y Guinea Conakry) to be operated on because of serious pathology as cardiopathy, traumatology, urology, burned or maxillofacial. Thaks a big chain of solidarity since 1995, Terre des Hommes Spain has been able to  treat almost 600 children.
