The development community is discussing new objectives on how to eradicate poverty. This is the so called “Post 2015 MDG Agenda”. Terre des Hommes believes that child protection and child rights must receive due policy priority in this Agenda. This is an ambitious objective that needs common efforts by child rights defenders. Under the lead work of the NGO “Family for Every Child”, a group of NGOs joined efforts to produce a series of six thematic position papers aimed at influencing the post-MDG agenda. Terre des Hommes contributed to that common work. We invite any organisation involved in the post-MDG debate to make use of them to promote development based on child rights.
