The Terre des Hommes International Federation is very pleased to announce the appointment of Valérie Ceccherini as its new Secretary General.
Since 1996, Valérie Ceccherini has led and supported international aid and human rights activities in Asia, the Middle East, Africa and Europe, including 6 years in the field. During the past 15 years, she has been leading the policy and advocacy work of major international development aid and humanitarian organisations -such as the Norwegian Refugee Council, Mercy Corps and Médecins du Monde, focusing particularly on EU policies.
Throughout her career, Valérie has also worked for 8 years with international Child Rights organisations and prior to her appointment, she was Representative to the EU of the International Federation of SOS Children’s Villages.
Valérie Ceccherini succeeds Eylah Kadjar who is going on retirement.
